HORN Strengthens National Sales Coverage with East Coast-Based New Hire
LA MIRADA, Calif. – July 10, 2018 – HORN, North America’s premier distributor of specialty ingredients and raw materials, today announced the hire of Amy Hoefele as business development manager for HORN Animal Nutrition. Hoefele joins HORN from DSM Nutritional Products and brings nearly a decade of technical sales experience supporting manufacturers of pet foods and animal feed.

Hoefele joins HORN from DSM Nutritional Products where she managed sales of specialty vitamins, carotenoids and other nutritional ingredients and premixes to pet food manufacturers. Prior to serving the companion animal market, Hoefele was a marketing analyst with a focus on DSM Nutritional Products’ dairy nutritional sales. During her tenure at DSM Nutritional Products she also worked closely with HORN as its U.S. distributor for the pet food industry.

Hoefele earned both her M.B.A. in food and agribusiness and bachelor’s degree in large animal science from Delaware Valley University. She also owns Apple Ridge Farms, a dairy farm in New York.
