Nelson Anderson joins HORN as senior account manager on the oil and gas team to provide added technical sales support to meet industry needs.
LA MIRADA, Calif. – June 8, 2016 – HORN, North America’s premier distributor of specialty chemicals and raw materials, welcomed Nelson Anderson as senior account manager to bolster its oil and gas technical sales team. Anderson joins HORN Advanced Materials with more than 20 years of experience, with a particular focus on the petrochemical industry.

Anderson joins HORN from Ashland Specialty Ingredients, where he was a global strategic account manager in oil and gas specialty chemicals. In that role, as in previous positions at NCH Corporation, GE Water & Process Technologies and Nalco,
Anderson supported oil and gas clients to achieve reduced costs through the introduction of technologies with higher performance. He made an impact at his former posts by driving revenue and profit growth through strategic selling, while building long-term relationships with targeted petrochemical accounts.

An alumnus of Texas State University, Anderson is a member of industry organizations including American Fuel and Petrochemical Manufacturers, Society of Petroleum Engineers and NACE International.
